1099 Positions
All positions are 1099, you will work as an independent contractor rather than an employee. Once certified, you’ll be paid hourly and can select your own workdays and hours. As a 1099 contractor, you are responsible for providing your own equipment and completing a background check. Taxes are not automatically deducted from your pay; the only deduction will be an administrative fee.
There is no cost to register for the job portal or explore available job opportunities. The required certification class is free. However, as a contractor, you will need to complete a background check, which costs $30, after enrolling in a certification class for a specific job. If you choose to work multiple jobs, you only need to pay the $30 background check once.
Additionally, a refundable $20 deposit is required 7 days before your certification class begins, which will be returned to you as long as you attend the first day of class.
